Play any song and you are in its room with everyone playing it right now, hearing the same second. Chat alongside, send emoji reactions, and leave a moment: a comment pinned to a second of the song that flies across the player when the next listeners reach it.

Add songs to the room's queue and upvote what should play next. When a song ends, the whole room moves on together.

See someone in your room you'd like to know? Wave. If they wave back, you're friends: no request to wait on, because you both said yes. One wave per person per day, and waves follow each person's friend-request setting.

Start a Circle in any room and everyone who joins gets a turn. Your pick plays next for the whole room, and people can send a fire to picks they love. SideSong suggests songs several people in the room already like.

A Night is a listening party with a start time and a setlist of up to an hour. Everyone hears the same song at the same moment, with chat, and gets a reminder 10 minutes before. Build the setlist from search, a YouTube playlist link or a vibe.

Host one for your friends any time. SideSong also hosts a themed public Night most evenings at 9 PM India time: Arijit Singh, 90s Bollywood, Global Hits, Friday Party and more.

During Blind Hours (9–11 PM India time) SideSong matches you with someone whose taste fits yours. You get an alias, a match score and the artists you share, never a name or photo. The first song comes from what you both like; then you each pick one.

If you both wave at the end, you become friends and see who the other is. Pass any time and it ends quietly; the chat is deleted. Phone numbers, handles and links are blocked in Blind chat.

A Rhythm counts the days in a row you and a friend really listened together, in the same room at the same time. Our Soundtrack keeps the story: since when, how many songs, how long, and your song, the one you two keep coming back to.

Music Twins are people whose real plays and likes overlap yours, with a match score, the songs and artists you share, and a Join button when they're listening right now. Only people active recently show up, and you can hide yourself in Settings.

Add friends by username or with your invite link. Friends can message each other, send song drops that play right inside the chat, and invite each other into a room at the exact moment they're at. Your profile shows your anthem, top artists, listening clock and badges, and you choose who sees your plays and likes.
