Terms of Service

By creating an account or using SideSong, you agree to these terms.

YouTube's terms apply too

SideSong plays music through YouTube and uses the YouTube API Services. By using SideSong you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and your data is also handled under the Google Privacy Policy. SideSong is not made or endorsed by YouTube or Google.

Your account

• You must be at least 13, and old enough to use YouTube where you live.
• Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• One person per account. Don't pretend to be someone else.

Be good to people

In rooms, moments, messages and your profile, don't post:

• harassment, bullying, threats or hate;
• sexual content, or anything involving minors in a sexual way;
• spam, scams or ads;
• other people's private information;
• anything illegal.

You can block and report anyone. We may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.

What you post

You own what you write. You let SideSong show it to the people it's meant for (for example, everyone in a room for room chat) for as long as it's on SideSong. Delete your account and it's removed, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Music

Songs are YouTube videos played in YouTube's own player; SideSong doesn't host, download or change them. Don't use SideSong to get around YouTube's rules, such as trying to download audio or hide the player.

Don't break SideSong

Don't try to get into other people's accounts, overload our servers, scrape other people's data, or use bots.

The service

SideSong is new and changes often. It's provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free, and to the extent the law allows we aren't liable for indirect losses from using it. You can stop using SideSong and delete your account at any time in Settings.
